Those who stay up to date with AB Print will be aware of our frequent commitments to various local charities and continued support of similar causes. Many may remember last December, we chose Yorkshire Cancer Research as our Christmas Charity. However, this year we are doing things slightly differently.
In fact, we are spreading even more Christmas spirit through the support of multiple charity campaigns. Below you can find more information on the range of good work being done throughout our region.
Acorn Stairlifts #MissionChristmas
Working in partnership with Radio Aire, the Steeton branch of Acorn Stairlifts, supplier of mobility equipment, have launched their ‘Mission Christmas’ charity campaign. The task at hand is to help provide toys for children aged 0 to 18.
AB Print chose to get involved supporting Acorn by delivering some Christmas cheer in the form of toys via one of our trusted helpers, Alan Williamson. Acorn’s mission with this campaign is to ensure that children in West Yorkshire can wake up on Christmas Day with a present.
@ABPrintGroup, supplies services to Acorn Stairlifts’ West Yorkshire HQ and partnered with us in backing the #MissionChristmas appeal. For those wishing to get involved, simply purchase an extra gift this Christmas and drop it off unwrapped at Acorn’s reception. Radio Aire will then gift each toy to a deserving child in West Yorkshire.
In a similar campaign to Acorn, the Salvation Army are also distributing toys to children throughout Wakefield and West Yorkshire. In the picture below, you can find Alan Goodall playing the role of one of Santa’s Little Helpers delivering more gifts.
Elsewhere on their travels, our valued team members have taken trips to Wakefield Hospice, and Harrogate Hospital, both of which were very happy to receive these toys to pass on to children throughout the region.
We hope for successful charitable campaigns and would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Aside from their temporary roles as Santa’s Helpers, our team are back to a very busy festive period.
