Merry Christmas from the Team!

Posted On December 23, 2019 By

We can’t believe how quickly the year has flown by! 2019 has been a fantastic year for AB Print so we thought we would share a few of our highlights…

To kickstart 2019, we were delighted to receive a nomination at the Yorkshire Choice Awards, which celebrates local people and independent businesses. This was a great event which we look forward to again this year!

As well as receiving this recognition, we welcomed Neil to our team and attended many exhibitions to promote our printing services across Yorkshire, including the Doncaster Business Showcase.

We had the opportunity to work with many great clients, including Price’s Patent Candles to produce an exhibition stand for the Spring Fair at the NEC Arena as well as longstanding customers, Steeper and Bill Plant Driving School.

Alongside this, we worked with new clients, such as Trackrod Motor Club and The JSRA, we continued to invest in new machinery to enhance our services, and rolled out the new web2print system.

merry christmas

Although we will be closed for the Christmas break from 12pm on 24th December until 2nd January, we can’t wait to see what 2020 has in store for us!

We would like to thank all our clients for choosing to work with us, as well as wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!…

Constructing excellence with ACS Stainless Steel

Posted On December 20, 2019 By

AB Print are proud to maintain strong working relationships with clients all over the country in a wide variety of sectors and industries. One such client is ACS Stainless Steel, a Leeds-based designer and manufacturer of building components. ACS are one of Europe’s leading companies in their field, and for the past year or so we have had the pleasure of supplying them with a range of quality printed paper products.

ACS have been so happy with the work we have completed for them thus far that they recently asked us to conceive and produce a range of promotional products to help strengthen their brand. It was important that the products were of premium quality to reflect ACS’ high standards and commitment to excellence, while also remaining consistent with their image as a company.

To fit this brief, we came up with two distinct products – a mug emblazoned with the ACS logo, slogan and the locations of the company’s offices, and a selection of stylish pens in two colours featuring a 360-degree engraved logo. Take a look at the finished products below!

We’re all very happy with how these promotional products turned out and have a further two designs for ACS in the pipeline in the shape of 500 bags and 1000 embroidered beanie hats. It’s great to have the opportunity to work with an industry-leading company and long may it continue!

Why you should invest in print marketing in 2020

Posted On December 17, 2019 By

Nowadays, there are so many ways for businesses to market themselves and their services. Digital, internet-based developments such as social media have transformed the way that companies connect with their audiences, but they’re not necessarily the be all and end all. Used correctly, print marketing can be a huge help in enhancing the reach and strength of your brand. Here are just a few of the reasons why you should consider investing in print marketing in 2020:

It commands attention

The tangibility of print marketing is one of its greatest strengths. Physical items that people can read or hold are more likely to gain and hold their attention than an email or social media post that they may take one glance at and then dismiss.

It’s long-lasting

In a similar vein, print marketing materials can continue to serve a purpose long past their date of issue. See, for example, the personalised travel mugs and pens we produced for Tailor Made Sourcing – helpful, durable products that will see regular use and therefore continue to strengthen the identity of the brand.

It’s flexible

Digital marketing algorithms can be tweaked to target certain demographics, but print marketing gives you a greater degree of flexibility. For instance, handing out business cards or posting leaflets allows you to directly determine who receives your message in a way that digital marketing perhaps can’t.

If you’d like to find out more about the benefits of print marketing, or if you’re already sold and just want to know where to start, AB Print can help! Thanks to our suite of printing technology and specialist printing capabilities, we offer a comprehensive range of creative branding solutions all from under one roof. Great printing ideas for Valentine’s Day

Posted On December 9, 2019 By

As the nights grow longer and the year comes to a close, Christmas and the New Year are front and centre in everybody’s minds. In marketing, however, it always pays to be planning ahead for the future and thinking about how you’re going to promote your brand in the months to come. Soon enough, we’ll all be finished heralding the beginning of 2020 and thoughts will turn to the first major consumer holiday of the year – Valentine’s Day.

Hundreds of millions of pounds are spent on Valentine’s Day gifts every year in the UK, so making sure your customers are aware of any special promotions or events you’re running is important. Here are a few ways in which you can incorporate print marketing materials into your Valentine’s plans.

Personalised greeting’s cards

With so many mass-produced cards on the market, it can be difficult to find one with a personal touch. Using our top-range facilities and range of finishing techniques like embossing and foil blocking, we can produce high-quality cards that you can send to let customers know you’re thinking of them.

Decorate your shop or office

If you’re running a special Valentine’s Day promotion or sale, you’ll want to draw attention to it. Decorating your shop with some special point of sale displays will help to attract customers to potential romantic gifts, or you could brighten up your office’s exterior with some eye-catching window clings or posters.

Special handouts and promotions

Of course, the end goal of most marketing campaigns is to encourage customers to buy things from you. However, what with Valentine’s Day being all about selfless giving, you might like to consider presenting some special free gifts in the form of Valentine’s themed stickers, coupons, leaflets or brochures.

With a superb array of printing equipment all housed under one roof, AB Print are proud to offer a range of specialist printing and finishing services all year round. To find out more, contact us by calling 01924 473481 or emailing …

AB Print work for Bill Plant Driving School!

Posted On December 2, 2019 By

In the run up to Christmas, we have had a busy few months here at AB Print! As well as printing a variety of Christmas cards, calendars and event materials for businesses across Yorkshire, we also worked with Bill Plant Driving School to help them create new marketing materials and merchandise.

We have been lucky enough to work with Bill Plant Driving School for over 10 years. As a leading driving school, they provide millions of hours of driving tuition every year throughout the UK and recently won ‘National Driving School of the Year 2019’.

In our latest collaboration, we printed Bill Plant Driving School Gift Vouchers for people to purchase for their loved ones this Christmas.

Bill Plant Driving Instructor

We also produced new pupil handbooks, driving instructor training brochures, learn to drive leaflets and car vinyl window stickers for driving instructors to use on their vehicles. Finally, we produced and printed eco-friendly reusable Bill Plant Driving School branded travel mugs for their Driving Instructors across the UK. Alongside being a fun and unique way of their Instructors celebrating the National Driving School of the Year victory it allows the Instructors to improve their sustainability efforts on their coffee runs in between driving lessons and tests.

Alongside these, we created an exhibition stand using our large format digital printing systems for the ADINJC & Intelligent Instructor National Conference & Expo. This is a great show giving businesses a chance to showcase their products and services to educate and leave visitors feeling passionate about being a driving instructor.

Take a look at the stand here!

Bill Plant Driving School were very pleased with the work we produced, and it was rewarding to receive such positive feedback:

“We continue to be delighted with the personal service received by AB Print. Working together with AB Print we continue to push the boundaries across our print literature and experiential marketing to delight our different customer groups.”
